1965 Dodge Coronet A990
Description
1965 Dodge Coronet A990
1965 Dodge Coronet A990 Super Stock tribute. At the heart of this stunning build lies a professionally prepared 426 Hemi engine that has been bored and stroked to 477 Cubic inches. This was performed by the very capable hands of Precision Automotive Machine of Canton OH. This engine is fed by a magnesium dual cross ram intake manifold topped with dual Holly 4160 Hemi Cross Ram carbs. Power is transferred by a race-ready Torque Flite manual valve body automatic transmission and applied with an 8 3/4 inch rear end with 4:10 gears house in a 442 case and Moser Axles.
The car comes dressed in proper Viper Red exterior paint with A990 grill and tail lamp assemblies. The interior features a complete and correct Gary Gall interior with cutout lightweight assembly seat frames, rear seat delete, radio delete and heater delete. The undercarriage is highly detailed and in auction speak: “As Clean on the Bottom as it is on Top.” Excessive attention to detail was executed in every aspect of the restoration and build process to replicate the Super Stock icon.
