1951 Mercury Sedan

1951 Mercury Hot Rod for purchase. Some restomods are pieced together for speed, some are pieced together for style, and then a very rare few have it all. What we’re trying to say is that this sled is not just a head turner for car shows. It is a masterfully constructed machine with no expense spared.

It started with an original all steel ’51 Mercury body with a 2.5” chop to go along with ’49 Mercury fenders & hood. Trim modifications include a ’57 Buick grille, ’53 Buick headlights, ’56 Packard taillights, and custom smoothed chrome bumpers. Then for the fun stuff its powered by a rebuilt 390 V8 paired with a C6 automatic transmission with braded steel lines and a 24” finned cooler channels power to the Ford 9” rear end with 3:50 gears. Other features include a Demon 625 carburetor, chrome alternator, polished Sanded air condition compressor, five-core aluminum radiator by Griffin, Ridetech 4-corner adjustable live coilovers (you can raise and lower the car from the driver’s seat), whitewall tires, steel wheels with Dodge Lancer hubcaps, Dakota digital gauges, and a ’61 Cadillac steering wheel.

This car has tons of curb appeal, but the interior in chalk white naugahyde may be even more eye catching. This car is an absolute stunner with tons of performance. This is one of the best street rods out there and you would have a tough time building this for double the price.
